Tunis According To Gabriel - 2023

Gabriel Sagron used to let me stay in one of his rooms in Lafayette. I later heard that after my uncle left, he broke down one of the walls that separated my uncle's apartment from his, to add a room for himself. I used to drive with him around Tunis, to his work in Beb Jdid, to the market in Sidi Bahri, to the synagogue, and back to Lafayette. The five video works show Tunis through his eyes, including random objects associated with him.
