Watchrug - 2013
In an attempt to explain to his father, a watchmaker, what Chaddad does for a living, he constructed this rug weaved with approximately 1200 inoperable wristwatches.
Each of these watches is one that his father couldn't fix, and like his father in his practice, Chaddad worked on this by hand.
This piece was exhibited at Artport in Tel Aviv in 2013, where a sculpture of Chaddad's own hand shows the viewer, and the artists father, how he sells his work.
