Olive Smoke - 2023

Traditionally, kosher ink used for holy writings in Judaism was made from a pigment extracted from the smoke of olive oil candles, mixed with almond resin. This ink, known as olive smoke ink, can last for 2,000 years. This work is my visual dream of olive smoke.
